For years a group of women made each of these men by hand using felt. Their adorable faces were all drawn on by hand and their \"carrot\" noses were delicately and painstakingly glued on by hand as well. While each man was made with felt, feature similar body styles, and most adorn the same style hat and scarf, they all were made with their own unique motif. The Hearts And Ivy Co. stopped making these famous men in 2015, making the existing figures part of limited collection that are now in even higher demand. No man was made exactly alike, and now that the company has stopped producing them permanently, these handmade men are part of a collection of that will never again exist.。
